Who are we?

CodeLab is a software and design agency at UC Davis that works on real-world projects in an industry-like environment. Teams have the opportunity to work with tech startups and non-profit clients. In addition to developing members’ coding and design skills, We seek to build a stronger community across disciplines in technology at UC Davis, where students can learn from each other and grow.

Our board coordinates all project planning and the logistics behind events for the CodeLab cohort. Responsibilities as a board member include, but are not limited to:

• Attend and participate in meetings with the board to discuss the direction of the organization
• Actively generate new ideas to improve and grow the organization
• Engage with CodeLab members to foster a tight-knit community

Beyond the specific tasks of your role, you will be engaged in much of the high-level planning for the organization.
